1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service form an agreement between the person or organization booking the service (“Client,” “you” or “your”) and Spotless Society (“Company,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted these terms and the service details shown in your booking confirmation.
If a written commercial agreement or property-specific service agreement conflicts with these general terms, the more specific written agreement controls for that service.
2. Quotes, Estimates and Service Scope
Website and quote-estimator pricing is based on the information you provide and assumptions about ordinary property conditions. A quote is not final when the size, condition, access, requested work or other material details differ from the booking information.
Conditions that may require a revised quote or declined service
- Clutter or accumulation that prevents reasonable access
- Bodily fluids, excessive animal waste, needles or other biohazards
- Known or suspected mold, sewage, pests or hazardous materials
- Structural, electrical, water or other safety hazards
- Undisclosed size, layout, rooms or property conditions
- Work requiring specialized equipment, licensure or remediation
If the team identifies a material difference on arrival, we may explain the issue, offer a revised scope or price, reschedule, or decline the work. We will seek your approval before proceeding with a material price increase. When we decline service solely because the property falls outside our safe service scope, no client cancellation fee will be charged and any applicable prepayment for unperformed service will be addressed through the original payment method.
3. Booking and Payment
Requested dates and arrival windows remain subject to availability until confirmed. Payment is due according to the checkout or booking confirmation. You authorize Spotless Society and its payment provider to charge the payment method provided for confirmed services and fees permitted by these terms.
- You are responsible for accurate billing and contact information.
- Recurring clients are responsible for managing schedule changes before the applicable cancellation window.
- Taxes, gratuities and optional services are handled as shown during booking.
- Failed or declined payments may delay service until resolved.
4. Cancellation, Rescheduling and No-Show Policy
Reserved appointments prevent us from offering that time to another client and affect team schedules.
A “lockout” includes a situation where the team cannot obtain safe access at the scheduled time. We may waive or modify a fee at our discretion, but doing so once does not waive the policy for future appointments. Any refund due is returned according to the payment provider’s processing timeline.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide a reasonably safe working environment and:
- Give accurate property, service and contact information
- Provide timely access instructions, keys, codes or authorized entry
- Secure pets away from work areas and disclose relevant pet concerns
- Identify fragile, valuable, damaged or irreplaceable items before service
- Disclose special surfaces, product restrictions and known hazards
- Provide functioning water and electricity when required for the service
- Remove excessive clutter that blocks agreed cleaning areas
- Ensure another adult is responsible for children present during service
Do not provide access instructions that violate a lease, property rule, security policy or third party’s rights.
6. Service Standards and Limitations
We will perform the confirmed cleaning scope with reasonable care. Results depend on surface condition, age, wear, staining, mineral buildup, prior damage and access. Cleaning does not restore every material to new condition.
Unless expressly included in writing, services do not include:
- Biohazard, sewage, mold, pest or hazardous-material remediation
- Structural, electrical, plumbing, restoration or repair work
- Moving heavy furniture or appliances
- High exterior windows, roofs or unsafe elevated work
- Carpet extraction or specialized floor treatment
- Removal of permanent stains, damage, corrosion or wear
- Work in areas that cannot be accessed safely
The inclusions selected during booking and shown in your confirmation determine the scope for Standard, Deep, Move-In/Move-Out, Airbnb, Commercial or other cleaning services.
7. Property and Damage Concerns
Report suspected damage within 24 hours after service and provide photographs or other reasonable documentation. Prompt notice helps us investigate while information is available. Do not repair or discard the item before we have a reasonable opportunity to review it, unless immediate action is necessary to prevent further damage.
We are not responsible for ordinary wear, pre-existing damage, unstable or improperly installed items, undisclosed special-care requirements, or damage resulting from conditions outside our reasonable control. Insurance and bond coverage, if applicable, is governed by the actual issuing documents and claim determination—not by this webpage.
8. Service Concerns
If part of the confirmed scope was missed or not completed to standard, contact us within 24 hours after service with details and photographs when helpful. After review, we may offer a reasonable remedy such as returning to address the specific area, issuing an appropriate service credit or providing a partial refund. The remedy depends on the circumstances and does not guarantee a full refund.
We may be unable to provide a return visit when access is unavailable, conditions have materially changed, another provider has altered the area, or the concern falls outside the confirmed scope.
9. Privacy and Communications
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Transactional communications may include quotes, booking confirmations, reminders, arrival updates, receipts and customer-support messages. Marketing communications are subject to the consent and opt-out choices described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as our services, booking systems or policies change. The effective date identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. Terms in effect when a service is booked generally apply to that booking, except changes required for safety, law or mutual written agreement.
